The end of the year

Well, 2005 is almost over. It has been a pretty good year. The new year looks to have many changes and many things that will stay the same.

I met my scrapbooking goals for the year, so I was happy about that. Made the design team at www.simplycreativecrafts.com which will hopefully be both fun and motivating.

Read a lot of books this year. Some of my favorites written by authors I had never read before were the Undead books by MaryJanice Davidson and the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.

Of course, I enjoyed the 2005 offerings of Jennifer Crusie, Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb and many others. I am really looking forward to Don't Look Down by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer. Should be an interesting collaboration.

John sent in the paperwork yesterday for the review on the subdivision. So if that gets approved, our house goes on the market. Building a house sounds like fun and horror. I am somewhat looking forward to this. The thought of going back into debt isn't as appealing as the thought of a new house from scratch, but I guess you take the good with the bad.

Tax season is just around the corner. Work is so busy right now I don't know how we will add the additional stress of tax season and remain sane, but I guess we somehow always manage.

So here's to a new year. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The first post

So here we are :) Nothing earth shattering will be going on here. Just going to review some books that I have read lately or post about scrapbooking. Stay tuned.
